The drive from Chessington to Heathrow
Most of our Heathrow runs leave Chessington on the A243 Leatherhead Road, join the M25 at Junction 9 near Leatherhead and head anticlockwise. Terminals 4 and 5 are signed from Junction 14. For Terminals 2 and 3, drivers usually continue to Junction 15 and take the M4 spur into the central area. Outside rush hour the trip typically takes 30 to 45 minutes.
At quieter times of day a driver may choose a cross-country route through Kingston, Hampton Court and Sunbury instead. It is shorter in miles, though it has more traffic lights. We decide on the day using live traffic, and because your fare is fixed, the route never changes the price.
Getting the pickup time right
For a long-haul flight, most travellers aim to reach Heathrow about three hours before departure, and around two hours for short-haul. Weekday mornings between 6:30 and 9:30 are the busiest on the M25 between Junctions 9 and 14, so we may suggest leaving a little earlier. Tell us your flight time and terminal and we will recommend a pickup time that leaves a sensible margin.
Heathrow charges drivers for dropping off at the terminal forecourt. Ask us whether this is included in your fixed fare when you book, so you know the full cost up front.
Meet and greet for Heathrow arrivals
Flights into Heathrow are often early or late. We track your flight number, so your driver adjusts to the real landing time rather than the one on your ticket. With meet and greet, the driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal holding a board with your name, helps with your luggage and walks you to the car park.

A saloon suits one to three people with normal cases. Choose an estate if you have bulky luggage, and an MPV for groups. Child seats are available on request, so just let us know ages when you book.
Heathrow with children
Airports are tiring for small children, and a long wait for a bus or train at the end of a flight makes it worse. With a pre-booked car, you walk out of arrivals to a driver who is already expecting you, and the child seats you asked for are fitted before you get in. On the way out, a door-to-door pickup means you can load bags, pushchair and car seats at home without carrying them through stations.
