Race days at Epsom Downs
Epsom Downs Racecourse is home to the Derby, one of the biggest days in the flat racing calendar, and holds meetings through the year. On race days the roads around the Downs are very busy, and parking fills early. A booked car drops you as close to your enclosure as local traffic rules allow, and collects you at an agreed time after the last race.
Groups often book our 6 seater taxi or 7 seater so everyone arrives together. Please book early for big meetings, as demand is high.
Station and town centre
Epsom station is on the High Street end of town, with trains to London Waterloo and Victoria. We collect commuters and visitors from the station and drop off for early trains. Around the centre, the clock tower, High Street and the Ashley Centre are regular pickup points.
For hospital visits, Epsom Hospital on Dorking Road is a short drive from the town centre. Let us know the appointment time and any mobility needs when you book.
Airports from Epsom
Epsom is well placed for Gatwick. Drivers usually take the A24 to the M25 at Junction 9 and then head east to the M23, or use the A217 through Reigate when the M25 is slow. Getting to Chessington from Epsom
Many Epsom families visit Chessington for the theme park and zoo, or come to see friends and family. The drive is short, usually via the A243 at Malden Rushett or through West Ewell. We are also happy to run the other way, taking Chessington residents to shops and restaurants in Epsom.
Epsom Common, Horton Country Park and the campus
Epsom has lots of green space, including Epsom Common and Horton Country Park, which are popular for walks and horse riding. Students at the University for the Creative Arts campus in Epsom also use us, especially at the start and end of term when they have luggage. We run between the campus, halls, Epsom station and the airports at fixed fares.
