Who travels through Euston
Euston serves the West Coast Main Line. Trains run from here to Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales and Glasgow. People from Chessington use it for work trips to the Midlands, university terms in the North West and visits to family in Scotland.
The station is on the Euston Road on the northern edge of central London, a long way from Chessington by public transport. A taxi is the simplest way to arrive on time with luggage.
The drive from Chessington to Euston
The usual route runs up the A3 to Wandsworth, over the river and through Chelsea, then up Park Lane and across Marylebone to the Euston Road. Typically it takes 55 to 70 minutes outside rush hour. At busy times, central London traffic adds to this, so we plan pickups with a margin, especially for trains with reserved seats.

Euston is where the Caledonian Sleeper leaves for Scotland, with trains heading to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William. Sleeper departures are late in the evening, and many travellers bring larger bags for a holiday in the Highlands.
