Chessington Airport Transfers is a local private hire service based in Chessington, KT9. We run fixed-fare journeys to the London airports and mainline stations, plus everyday local trips. What you need to drive with us
To carry passengers with us you must be fully licensed to work in private hire in London. In practice that means:
- A valid TfL private hire driver's licence (PCO licence).
- A full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
- A vehicle licensed by TfL as a private hire vehicle, clean and well kept.
- Valid hire and reward insurance for the vehicle you drive.
- A smartphone, good English and a polite, professional manner with passengers.
- Good knowledge of local roads around Chessington, Kingston and north Surrey, and the main routes to the airports.
We will ask to see your licences and documents before you start, and we check they stay valid.
